Professor Mascott Provides Reaction to Final SCOTUS Cases of the Term

Professor Jennifer Mascott joined several TV programs over the past week to analyze recent Supreme Court rulings. Among the cases attracting media attention were 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis; Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President and Fellows of Harvard College; and Biden v. Nebraska.

On Thursday, June 29th, Professor Mascott spoke with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie and MSNBC’s Alex Witt and Andrea Mitchell to discuss the ruling on affirmative action. The next day, she again spoke with Savannah Guthrie and Andrea Mitchell, offering analysis on the student loan relief case and the debate over requiring an individual to design custom online wedding websites for same-sex couples despite conscientious objections. Then, this past Sunday, she joined ABC’s This Week with guest host Jonathan Karl to analyze the Court’s affirmative action ruling and the level of consensus between the justices this term.
