Lunch and Discussion with Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Clark

During this event for Antonin Scalia Law School Students, Jeffrey Clark, head of the Justice Department’s Environment and Natural Resources Division, discussed issues of environmental regulation, including the President’s new infrastructure reforms and the future of judicial deference to agencies. He also spoke about about careers in environmental and administrative law, and the benefits of public service in state and federal government.

About Jeffrey Clark

Jeffrey Bossert Clark is the Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s Environment and Natural Resources Division. From 2001-2005 he served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General of the same Division during the administration of President George W. Bush. During the intervening years, Mr. Clark was a Partner for the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Mr. Clark is a graduate of Harvard University (A.B. in economics and history, 1989), the School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Delaware (M.A. in urban affairs and public policy, 1993), and the Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 1995).
